Property Intake Agent

As our Property Intake Agent, you are our first point of contact on the ground when carrying out Occupancy Checks on behalf of our clients.

Dublin / Swords - 39 per week

Camelot Europe in Ireland offers vacant properties security solutions and activates them for new use. We take care of vacant properties by placing various occupants, known as Guardians, into the empty spaces. In some cases, we even transform spaces into affordable housing possibilities.

For our growing team in Dublin Swords, we are looking for reinforcement and are expanding our teams. You think in terms of opportunities and solutions that help the organization grow to a higher level and are willing to help build our organization. The Irish market has high potential, so there are big opportunities ahead!

What to expect from this position as a Property Intake Agent.

We are looking for a trustworthy, highly motivated, and driven individual to join our team as soon as possible. As our Property Intake Agent, you are our first point of contact on the ground when carrying out Occupancy Checks on behalf of our clients. As part of that Occupancy Check you will establish the current status of the property and determine whether it is Occupied or Vacant.

Where Occupied, you will engage with the occupants on behalf of our client to establish tenancy details. Additionally, where directed by our client, you will be tasked with securing their vacant properties and carrying out an Internal Report on the condition of that property.

Reporting to your Line Manager, you will be tasked with a daily list of properties which must be visited. Having carried out an inspection, you will complete the relevant reports via a handheld interface and, where necessary, you will report back immediately to your Line Manager if an escalation is required.

You are comfortable working alone yet will take pride in being part of a bigger team while understanding the importance of the function you will be performing. As you will be tasked with holding the keys to multiple properties, so you must have a proven record of being in a position of trust. You are eager to learn and willing to work with other teams as may be required from time to time, for which cross training will be provided by Camelot.

As we have a foot print across all 26 counties, your role will require you to be ‘on the road’ 5 days a week where some overnight stays may be required on occasion. You will be flexible in your working hours, understanding that sometimes we need to go that extra mile! Given that you are acting in a security role, you will be available to be on call on a rotating basis should an emergency arise where your attendance might be required. This is a rare occurrence, and any call out time will be remunerated or given back as time off in lieu (TOIL).

What do you bring?

You are a proactive go-getter with a hands-on-mentality. A confident and naturally inquisitive individual, comfortable speaking with strangers in order to gather all necessary information. Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills in order to work effectively with immediate team members and the various other teams throughout the organization. You work well under pressure and can adapt to a high paced working environment within a dynamic company.

You have the following skills and competences:

  • Relevant work experience in the security industry, preferably as part of a Mobile Patrol Unit or Static Security team and are ready to hit the ground running.
  • Some understanding of Property or Facilities management is desirable, but not essential.
  • Valid PSA license is essential.
  • Valid Safe Pass Certification (not mandatory, but highly desirable).
  • Full and clean driver’s license.
  • Basic DIY-skills are an advantage.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

What may you expect from us?

  • Salary (based on career and experience) starting at €.30.000 gross per year.
  • Additional bonus structure based on (department) performance.
  • The right tools to do the job: company vehicle, mobile phone, tablet and PPE.
  • A thorough onboarding process.
  • Possibility to grow within our company.
  • Access to online trainings and webinars.
  • Short lines of communication within an informal (though commercial) company.
  • An international and dynamic working environment in which entrepreneurship and initiative are highly valued.
