As Sales Manager Empty Spaces, you will make your business a commercial success! You increase the real estate portfolio through market research and acquisition activities. Are you entrepreneurial and outspoken sales-driven? Would you like to work independently and be responsible for your results? Then this is your job!

What will our Sales Manager Empty Spaces do?

You will create a national acquisition plan based on real estate criteria with which you will look for locations and properties throughout Northern Ireland . Preferably (partially) empty locations that are not actively used for some time.

You investigate whether locations can be used profitably for living and/or work space. Ideally, housing can be built in the medium or long term through steady urban expansion. You conduct thorough local market research into the intended new functions for the property, competition and financial analysis.

You set up an extensive business case for each object to be acquired. You are strong in calculating the return for owner/landlord and Camelot. You work out competitive offers that fit within the Camelot price & margin objectives and you follow them up. You will work with asset managers of institutional and larger professional real estate investors to acquire new locations or rent them for a longer period of time. You present our company and your business case in such a way that the deal is awarded to you.

You work efficiently and register your commercial and other activities in systems such as SalesForce. This way, fellow departments can easily take over the baton from you for their part in the total service provision process.

With the support of our marketeers you use digital campaigns to inform prospects, real estate owners about the projects we have realized (inter)nationally.

You present your business cases to the management and receive immediate feedback. You report to the Country Director.

You have the following experience and skills

  • At least 3 years of demonstrable success in a commercial job in the service sector. At least you have affinity with real estate. Commercial experience in that area is absolutely super;
  • A Bachelor real estate education is a plus; but a proven track-record also counts!
  • You have a relevant network or the skills to build it;
  • You are analytically strong and have good communication skills;
  • You set the right priorities, maintain an overview and achieve your commercial objectives;
  • You are willing to work nationwide and have your driving license;
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
